Town and county officials who want authorization to control ConnectedTown
news, information, and services for their town, can now register to get
access to all of the Town's content. It's a FREE ConnectedTown service
that can help promote your town and deliver your information to a larger
audience. We consider registered towns as content management partners,
contributing to our virtual community while supporting their own.
As an authorized registered user,
you can add as much local news as you want, whenever you want. We'll
host and archive your news and provide a convenient website for people
that appreciate exploring timely local information. You may also choose to add links from your website directly to your news hosted at ConnectedTown. If you prefer, your news can be customized to appear in a custom style that exactly fits your town website for a small additional charge.
What if my town chooses not to register?
If you choose not to participate,
ConnectedTown's staff will periodically review your website and add
your public news to ConnectedTown when we feel it can be valuable
information for our visitors. Our policy is to enter this news, without editing, in as close to the original format as possible. We also honor any copyright restrictions provided to us directly in writing.
